Certificate of Merit Path A Certificate Template Directions: In Microsoft Word: In File Menu, choose Page Setup. In Page Setup: 1) Choose “LANDSCAPE” mode 2) Set Margins to: a. Top: 4.20” b. Bottom: 2.00” c. Left: 2.00” d. Right: 2.00” I used 28 pt. font for the two lines of text with a 32 pt. font space in between. I tested Times New Roman. If you use a different font, you will need to play around with the font size and space size to center the text between the pre-printed lines of the certificate. Set your paragraph alignment to “CENTER,” as opposed to “ALIGN LEFT” or “JUSTIFY.”
Type in the
"name" of your student (28 pt. font) PLEASE print out a sample test sheet on blank paper. Hold it up to your certificate to make sure it works. Don’t forget to keep track of the orientation of your print out, so you can feed the Certificate into your printer in the correct direction.
