What is
MTAC-WLA?
The West
Los Angeles Branch (MTAC-WLA) was organized in 1954 and currently has over 120
members
teaching a variety of instruments and voice. MTAC-WLA
meets bimonthly from October through June,
providing enriching programs through
recitals, lectures, and discussions, giving members new teaching ideas,
methods,
and tools to take back to their studios.
MTAC-WLA publishes a monthly newsletter (Con Brio)
and offers several continuing professional workshops for
its members, including master classes, teachers’
performing workshops, and
teachers’ round-table forums.
MTAC-WLA students participate in numerous
projects and programs, both at the
State level and at the Branch level.
